For Arena, a leading brand in competitive swimming technology, the Carbon Air commercial had a specific goal: to showcase a product designed for professional athletes not only through its performance, but also by evoking the sensorial sensation of swimming at the highest level.
The Powerskin Carbon Air swimsuit, with its integrated carbon bands, ensures lightweight compression, extreme hydrodynamics, and a fit that feels like a second skin.
The entire visual narrative was crafted to convey the combination of freedom and power born from technical excellence taken to the extreme.
Visual suggestion and sound research
The creation of this highly immersive and aesthetically pleasing commercial required innovative directorial choices: a lighting system designed to recreate the nuances of water, underwater cameras to capture the fluidity of movement, and meticulous sound design to convey the experience of the body navigating the element.
Every detail—from the positioning of the lights to the composition of the soundtrack—was calibrated to convey the encounter between air and water, amplifying the athlete's physical and emotional connection to their movements.
